ADSLGuide reports that BT and the Regional Development Agencies (RDA) programme to ADSL enable exchanges has been boosted by another price cut:
Previously the costs to enable an exchange under the scheme cost £45,000 over three years with a group of 30 users. From January, this cost is being reduced to £25,000 fixed cost with £13/month for each of the 30 users. The cut is clearly quite dramatic and there's an additional reduction for further blocks of 30 users. This will make brining ADSL to more remote communities even more attractive.
