Surfing gets even faster in Devon
Telewest Broadband is today launching faster broadband internet services in Devon, enabling speed-hungry web surfers to rev-up their home connection even further.
The cable company's 1Mb and 2Mb blueyonder broadband services offer internet connections up to 20 and 40 times faster than traditional dial-up services, respectively.
The premium services cost from £35 per month and mean customers in Devon can now choose the speed of their broadband internet connection from 512kb, 1Mb and 2Mb options.
Chad Raube, director of internet services at Telewest Broadband, said: "We have pioneered faster broadband services for some time and we're now delighted to make the 1Mb and 2Mb services available to customers in the south west.
We've had plenty of requests for these faster services from our customers in Devon and anyone who wants the ultimate internet experience will find it's been well worth the wait."
Existing blueyonder broadband customers can quickly upgrade their connection via the self-care pages of the blueyonder.co.uk web site at no cost.
The cable company's network passes approximately 170,000 homes across Devon.
