It's being reported that an unknown number of BTOpenworlds customers suffered problems accessing websites and e-mail this week:
According to BT, the problems were caused by planned engineering work that required some back-up activity, which in turn disrupted the system for a couple of hours.
A spokesman for BT said: "There was a problem with the BT Openworld home page. The fault affected both Business and Consumer and customers were not able to access certain features on the homepages. It may also have affected the Google search feature on the homepage. The fault was cleared at about 1pm on Tuesday."More @
