What was that last press release about? Anyway,
ADSLGuide reports that UK ISP
BTOpenworld has blocked some upstream traffic from user connections (specifically ICMP). It's also temporarily blocked IP ports 69, 445, and 4444.
The move has been made in order to better protect the ISPs networks and customers against the numerous worms (viruses) currently roaming the Internet. No mention of when the block will be lifted.
