UK ISP Virgin.net looks set to benefit from a new broadband wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) hotspot roaming deal with Broadreach Networks:
The agreement with Virgin.Net, due to be formally announced next week, allows users to access the ReadytoSurf network using their existing user name and password, with the access charges billed back through Virgin.Net.
Broadreach, which counts BT, Virgin Group and Intel Capital among its backers, has around 145 UK sites, including railway stations and coffee shops. It is currently rolling out in an additional 4,000 locations, for partners such as Virgin Megastores, L.A Fitness, Network Rail/EAT, Holmes Place and Tourist Information Centres.More @
