Today we received a press release from Fast 24 about the launch of their first RapidPlay Game Servers. This could be good news for those who play online games and are looking for better pings while playing their games.
True to their word. Fast24 are pushing ahead with their support of the Online Gaming Community.
Today, Fast24 have announced that they will be launching the first raft of their RapidPlay Game Servers. These servers will be high specification Xeon/SCSI based, and open to both RapidPlay, and non RapidPlay customers without charge.
The major advantage of the RapidPlay Game Servers for RapidPlay Broadband customers it that they will be just ONE HOP from the RapidPlay customers PC, as they will be directly connected to the router upon which their Broadband sessions terminate.
Naturally, included in the first games to go live will be Counterstrike, however Fast24 are currently running a poll at Fast24 Forums to obtain gamer feedback on other preferred games. The first servers are expected to go live by the fourth week of August.
