Summary: Ok, just OK
December 22nd, 2007 (Last Edited: April 28th, 2008)
Not much to say about these guys

We\'ve just left them after 18 months or so , we had one telephone line in the house \"bulldogged\" - which was Ok - speed wasn\'t great - only between 2MB and 4MB download speeds - we\'re now getting 6MB download speeds on a different telephone line with Pipex.

We never had any big issues with Bulldog, the service was adquate for surfing, the odd download of tv episode , etc... but it was an unremarkable 18 months to be honest.

The phone service wasn\'t all that, you had to pay to use a lot of extra things you get free on a BT line, which in my view is stupid.

All in all, 5 - Good , but not great

Summary: LAZY WORKERS

\"We will call back in 48 hours with a solution to your problem, thank you.\" - Sounds so nice dosen\'t it?

Let\'s look carefully to 48 hours. What they refer to 48hrs is, 48 WORKING HOURS (mon-fri 9am-5pm). This works out to be... 8 working hours a day, 5 working days a week.

48 hours (working hours) = 8hrs x 6 days = 1 working week + 1 working day. which also means 8 calender days!

Simple maths!

Thats all i want to say, bulldog with its feces. btw, they didn\'t managed to provide me broadband due to a \"STUCK\", and had to wait for 2 months before i could cancel order without paying the contract.

Summary: AVOID!!!!!!!
May 27th, 2007 (Last Edited: April 28th, 2008)
I was with them for about 7 months and to cut the long story short, they are a total disgrace to the technology world. Avoid them like the plague. I would have given them zero scores but minimum is 1!

I managed to get out of the contract because they could not fix the fault, bulldog actually gave up and discharged my contract. Would love to see them closed down.

Summary: Beware of the Bulldog
May 14th, 2007 (Last Edited: April 28th, 2008)
Bulldog penalise existing customers for their loyalty by not allowing them access to the same deals as new customers and then make it very hard to leave once you\'ve joined them (They use a unique system with no migration code (MAC) so it takes longer and means more downtime if you leave). Today, lthough we\'re fully paid up, they cut off our broadband because we\'re transferring to another ISP at the end of the month (today is 14th). So, without any notice from Bulldog we have 2 weeks with no internet. Furthermore their customer service is absolutely atrocious and I would strongly suggest to anyone researching ISPs to avoid Bulldog at all costs!

This company is a joke!

On account creation theres always delay to activation but they took 2 weeks longer than maximum expectation. My previous ISP subscription had run out and then had to go net-less during that period. This was a major problem because I work from home and didn\'t get anything done.

Was okay in between but only half the speed they promised.

When it came to cancelling, it\'s even more problematic, I cancelled three months ago and the\'re still charging me. Every time I call now they keep on saying \"you be paid within X days\".

Support is disorganised, the same problem gets a different explanation every time.
