Summary: Namesco
November 25th, 2009 (Last Edited: November 25th, 2009)
Have been using Namesco for over a year now and not had any problems. Using the Platinum service which costs less than my previous supplier and consistently delivers good downlink and uplink speeds despite living 3 miles from the exchange. Whenever I have called them they have answered the phone immediately and have been able to answer my queries.

Summary: Namesco - Excellent Service
March 22nd, 2009 (Last Edited: March 22nd, 2009)
I joined Namesco on 1st March 2009. My router arrived in 24 hours and I was told my line would go live in 7 days so I set the router up on the 5th day and to my suprise we already had internet.

I purchased the 2mb - 8mb line with 50gb usage for £24.99. My line is only capable of 3.5mb but I've been doing regular speed tests and i'm averaging 5mb. Which is great!

I cannot fault Namesco what so ever, so far i've had an Excellent Service

Summary: not good vfm anymore...
October 6th, 2007 (Last Edited: April 28th, 2008)
Migrated from NDO/Namesco Broadband. Was on 512k unlimited paying ?20 per month! Service/support was good, with low pings, but it was really annoying as they were just not competitive. (e.g. new pakages are ~same price and only have 1gb per month download alowance! pure crap!)

Would warn people off them as they are terrible vfm now, are obviously not interested in attracting new broadband customers anymore. On the way down. Watch out for fanboys who tout them as the best, they are severly deluded.

Now on Sky Max 16mb - ?10 per month.

No probs. So far, so good. Feel sorry for the poor suckers still paying way over the odds with Namesc

Summary: Totally satisfied
August 18th, 2007 (Last Edited: April 28th, 2008)
Wanted to upgrade from a dialup ISP to a fairly basic b/band service for a light user at reasonable cost. Reviews of many big name providers were truly alarming. I opted for Namesco \"Home Broadband\" package (2mb with 5 gig/month cap) based on excellent reviews. Experience has been excellent in 5 weeks of usage.

Their router arrived within 24 hrs of order and the service went live a week later, as promised. Totally reliable service at all times. On set up day I had to call their customer services, to help me through set up, but a highly pleasant and professional advisor talked me through the process within minutes.

Summary: Dependable ISP
August 9th, 2007 (Last Edited: April 28th, 2008)
Joined two and a half years ago, then known as NDO. This was after 3 months of misery failing to get a service with Wanadoo.

Connection to NDO was easy (though needing a call to NDO to get it going). The speed is nearly always good, and it\'s very rare to lose the service.

They are not perfect - they have finger trouble sometimes, but they are easily contacted, and always fix the problem quickly. Their help desk appears to be manned by knowledgeable people, though they could be more polite, and it's no longer 24 hour.

After the misery of Wanadoo, and reading some of the reviews of some other ISPs, I\'ll be sticking with Namesco!
