Firenet

I have been with firenet 6 years or more, despite one or two past poor reviews because of people abusing the system and downloading 24/7 things have much improved since capping.

I havent had to call support in a long long time and my 2mb speeds are much more than 2mb ??? all in all I value firenets great service and I shall stay loyal to them for many years to come as I have done already. There arent too many ISP's who can expect that kind of loyalty.

I have no hesitation in recommending firenet who are often leaders and were one of the very first to use spam filtering mail software which I greatly appreciate.

Whilst Firenet used to provide a good service it has been very poor since December last year. Appallingly slow speeds, downtime, disconnects and being fobbed off by support. They\'re basically now cramming too many users onto too small a capacity to try and save money and blaming technical problems over and over again. For an Entanet L2TP reseller they also offer very small caps with no offpeak allowance. A straight Entanet reseller will give you much bigger caps and proper capacity for the same price. Also they still charge you for 35 days after you cancel or migrate which means you could end up paying 2 months of bills after you\'ve left.

Been using firenet under the broadsurf platform for over a year now and had no problems, until 2 weeks ago when it went very slow.



Found that dialup was faster.

I find that support is good but not giving the answers i need like when it will be fixed?

since this fiasco i was happy but at the moment i`m very angry and thinking of moving suppliers but to my surprise i can\'t get a MAC code and have to cancel then resubscribe as a new broadband customer to another supplier.

I have been with firenet for some years, I left when adsl came in as I could not afford firenet price, went with other isps they were good to start then went down hill, i often went on the forum to chat and help when I could, for past help etc firenet offed me a vet posistion, so I came back and what a differance to other isps they were and are, friendly personael service no pre recorded stuff, always ready to help and the other peeps give good help and advice, emails are well protected, prices are good connection every time, I for one am glad I returned there idea is \" a happy customer is a good customer\" thanks firenet one and all

I cannot find anything to criticise them for! As a long-term customer I have found Firenet to be everything I want from an ISP
