AOL
I've been with AOL since 2003, when we first got Broadband in the village. I even remember getting it installed, I was stunned with 256kbps :/
Since then, things have changed. Obviously technology has improved and so speeds have increased over the years. Unfortunately, AOL can no longer provide me with the speeds that pass the bare minimum. (62kbps) This is what made me leave.
To be fair, AOL have been good over the years with me. They have cut my price down so many times.
There support IS good, but only when you get through to a Level 2 technician. They have had BT repair and replace my line, change my master socket, and swap my line in the exchange. To no avail however.
I really recommend AOL if you want something cheap and cheerful and don't mind constant up's and down's with your service. Remember though, It is an 18 month contract, not a 12 or 1 month.
All in all, Thanks AOL for the service over the past 7 years, but i'm leaving for Xilo.
