EFH Broadband

Summary: Poor service

I used EFH for around 9 months without any problems until one day we were cut off. A message informed us that we had not paid our bill and on querying this discovered they'd been experiencing "issues" with their billing system which resulted in the loss or our card details.

Worse followed when our ADSL was cut off a few weeks later. I called and spoke to an utterly disinterested individual who couldn't have cared less that I'd paid for a service they were no longer providing me. His advice, "pick another ISP and sign up". That's exactly what I did.

Summary: Not so bad!

I think EFH are getting lots better, I had to call support this week as I had an issue that turned out to me my router, but my call was answered in seconds and the person on the other end of the phone was helpful and polite and clearly experienced!! I have been with EFH for some time now and can say apart from when they had an Indian call centre they have been great.

Summary: Horribly Confusing

Utterly useless... you will only ever speak to some poor Indian engineer who reads a script, is powerless to really help, and will never actually get anywhere close to solving your problem.



Try to email and you enter a dark labyrinth of being bounced between about 5 companies (with whom you had no idea you were doing business) all claiming it\\\'s the others responsibility and generally uninterested in helping.



Not happy.. now just cut my losses and gone with someone else.



Oh, and one other things, the wireless router has still not arrived after lots of chasing and 2.5 months :-(

Was with EFH Broadband for 18 months, great service, no problems. Then the joined 186k Limited. From that day problems never stopped.

Rubbish! Could not connect for the first week, when I asked for help on many occasions, kept getting emails telling me to run BT speed tests. Went back to dial up. Service improved a little but regularly could not get connection. Also Emails went missing and had to try numerous times to log onto mail servers. Now changed to another ISP and the service is 1000 times better.



Do not use this ISP POOR all around.

Summary: Appaling service

I have been with EFH for nearly 3 years and had excellent service at all times. Then 186k got involved. Almost overnight speeds dropped and disconnects started. I have been asking for a MAC but keep been fobbed off with \"by tomorrow...\". 75 pence a min to be fobbed off is cheeky. Avoid like the plague
