I migrated from Sky to Digital Region and had a good time with them (40/10) but these past 6-12 months have been the worst experience ever from a communications company.
I got told last year about the announcement of Digital Region so I knew I would be getting an options call or something. In March I got an announcement that the network would be closing down in August this year and I would get a personalised package quote and call. 4 months down the line nothing apart from an email saying to call them or email there support team as they can still provide me broadband.
I've also found out that this email (sent this week) can't be classed as 30 days notice either.
i called them and they said they could do fibre with them but I would have to take a new line with them first. I told them there's no chance of myself taking another line when I have a perfectly working one here and the response from the advisor was "so I'll guess you want to leave then?"
I'm now migrating out to Andrews & Arnold on a Fibre package on he same line. I'll be having a capped package but I'm approaching retirement so I can live with this.
From a small respectable company to total disaster within 12 months. The basic principles of being a communications provider is to communicate. Sadly, this has been lost in transition totally when Digital Region went to pot.
If you're considering this company. Don't. These chaps make TalkTalk, Sky, BT look like world beaters!.
