Update: 3 missed appointments and have now waited 3 months to get broadband and still waiting.

I wanted to support a British company with British support... I think I made a huge mistake!
It's been almost 3 Months since I placed my order with Origin, and still have no service with them.
This is a move from Virgin cable to fibre, with no existing BT line, so if you have a simple fibre to fibre switch I would hope this would be different for you.
I cancelled Virgin in September, so have had no real internet since the start of October.
Origin Broadband were very quick to take payment details etc and sort the first appointment. Since then they hardly contact me, have have had to chase them up to find out about engineer appointment dates and progress.
I have had 2 appointments cancelled and not been told about it until I phone them, loosing both as holidays from work to stay at home. Lots of broken promises by the staff, in what now seems like an attempt to get me off the phone.
The last 2 months trying to sort it out has been hell and ruined my home life with the stress.
Yet to see what there service is really like if I ever get connected!!!
