The first point to emphasise is the value of the broadband package. £12.49 a month is very reasonable for 'up to' 17Mb. That said, of course, you do get what you pay for. Plusnet isn't cheap and cheerful, though, I found the quality of service to really rather good.
I didn't quite achieve 17Mb download speed, rather about 14Mb or so, but to be honest I've come to expect that from most broadband packages. In fact, several years back I only received about 1Mb from a Virgin fibre optic package (supposed to be over 30!), I think due excessive demand in the area. So, 14 isn't bad at all considering!
The stability of the service is generally good, but isn't without its failures. This tends to be a drop in speed rather than total breakdown, but the upside is that these occurances are quite rare and the customer service is great.
Overall I'd say Plusnet is a solid choice, if not quite spectacular, perhaps unless you require higher download speeds.
