This is the worst ISP I've ever dealt with! The broadband service started ok (not as fast as Plusnet before) but 5 days later died. Every time I called I'd wait for about 45 mins only to speak to someone who couldn't help me and then wait another 45 mins or so to speak to level 2 tech support, where they'd tell me they'd send an engineer to the exchange or that all their checks were fine and more checks were needed, for me to call again in 24h. Then I'd call and be told the same things over and over. Every time you're on hold you're being tortured with the same few pop songs. Once I waited for 110 minutes total and gave up. A couple of times the battery of my landline phone died while on hold! They must have only 2 or 3 people in tech support because I already knew them all by name. After 4 days of this I gave up, requested a switch back to Plusnet and did a chargeback on my credit card, since I had paid line rental for the full year and they refused to let me cancel and give me my money back. I work from home and had to go to the library and cafes for 2 weeks to use their wifi, because Origin took 2 weeks to send an engineer to the exchange to fix it, despite all the lies they kept telling me. Avoid this ISP at all costs if you want to preserve you mental sanity, dealing with them was absolutely kafkian. They should compensate me for what I went through.
