I spent 18 months with Tiscali/Talk Talk. The broadband service and customer service were both utterly appalling. My line supports up to 7MB. I live in a rural area with just under 400 users on the exchange. The majority of the time speeds have averaged around 0.5MB. I spent countless hours banging my head on a brick wall and becoming more and more frustrated. Have heard excuse after excuse - a different one each time I contacted them. I honestly cannot emphasise how bad they've been. Finally saw sense and migrated to Xilo two weeks ago. What a breath of fresh air! The changeover was seamless, every query I've had has been answered super-fast and my broadband speed is consistently over 6MB. Wish I'd made the move a long time ago. Talk Talk advised me the issue was at the exchange and if I moved I'd have the same problems with my new ISP. Hmmmmm......!
