UK broadband ISP O2 ( Be Broadband ) has won six key service satisfaction categories as well as being voted best overall provider by the latest survey from comparison site BroadbandChoices. The survey also revealed that 53% of people were considering changing their ISP in the next six months, while 49% were Very Satisfied or Fairly Satisfied with their ISPs After Sales Support.

Virgin Media did well too, becoming the most improved ISP overall since last autumn, while Sky Broadband (BSkyB) was named the best ISP for bundled (broadband, TV, phone etc.) services. Sadly the survey only included ten of the largest UK ISPs and also treated Pipex and Tiscali separately (Pipex doesn't offer residential services anymore, they redirect to Tiscali):
Overall - Very/Fairly Satisfied
1. O2 .
2. PlusNet .
3. Sky Broadband .
4. Virgin Media .
5. TalkTalk .
6. Tiscali UK .
7. BT Broadband .
8. Orange .
9. Pipex .
10. AOL Broadband .
Interestingly 69% of the 10,000+ respondents with broadband access claimed to have some form of bundled service. Both PlusNet and Virgin Media were also rated highly for quality and download performance.

I am with pipex and although the actual broadband is good with very few problems, woe betide you if you have to email them.It is diabolical and I would say don't bother,it's a waste of time.

Currently with O2 for mobile ('unlimited' data addon - really ~2GB, only £7.50 thou), I have always found their support to be very good and nearly on par when compared to the likes of Titan.
