ISP AOL UK Improves Email and Social Networking Aggregation

ISP AOL UK ( The Carphone Warehouse ) has launched a beta version of its new homepage, which allows users to access multiple email accounts and social networking sites from a single online portal. The new site will allow integration of third-party services, content and has already been proven successful in the USA.

Bill Wilson, President of AOL's MediaGlow division said: "Today's beta launch of the new AOL UK portal builds on the tremendous success we've experienced in the U.S. offering consumers more choice and customization. For the advertising community, it means even greater reach and relevancy for campaigns aimed at audiences across a wealth of rich media content and channels already available across AOL."

Features: Customized backgrounds with six new designs to choose from; Ability to add any links to the page so users can more easily access their most frequently visited sites; Users can drag and drop to reorder channel navigation to suit personal preferences; Users can add RSS feeds and categories to get content from their preferred external sites; and Leading market quotes and global stock finder.
