Survey - UK ISP Users Dissatisfied with their Broadband Speed
By: MarkJ - 22 June, 2009 (8:17 AM) - Views: 665 - Categories: Statistics

The results from 774 respondents to our latest survey reveals that 58.6% of ISPreview visitors are still not satisfied with the broadband speed they receive from their current ISP and 55.2% would be willing to pay extra for "significantly faster" performance.

While the news bodes well for proponents of faster next generation broadband services, it also suggests that many existing services still fail to meet expectations. This is despite the fact that many would be willing to pay more for something a lot faster.

ISP Review users are obviously not representative of "UK consumers".

Don't you have to have an interest in "Internet Service Provider ‘News’, ‘Reviews’, ‘Discussion’ and ‘Consumer Complaints’" to visit? Huge self-selection bias with people choosing to fill out the poll.

To suggest that the results of this is representative of "UK consumers" is crazy. Get a clue about survey methodology.
