UK ISP EntaNet and Distribution of User Broadband Speeds

This follows yesterdays news where PlusNet posted nearly identical data for its ISP (here ( http://www.ispreview.co.uk/story/2009/07/29/uk-isp-plusnet-highlights-distribution-of-user-broadband-speeds.html )).
As with PlusNet, the performance chart shown below represents 'throughput speed' (BRAS profile), which is the maximum speed that data will transfer across the connection. The maximum throughput speed is always slightly lower than the sync speed.
Both charts are interesting to look at, especially the 21CN one where speeds of 6500 (6.5Mbps) and 7150 (7.1Mbps) account for a significant portion of the providers users. This is because quite a lot of Entanet's customers are still on 'up to 8Mbps' packages, albeit while using the providers faster 'up to' 24Mbps platform; as a result they get stronger speeds.
It also suggests that many users would stand to benefit from upgrading to one of the faster up to 24Mbps ADSL2+ products.
