Mobile operator T-Mobile UK has once again won high praise for its Mobile Broadband service via an independent July 2009 YouGov survey of 2,068 respondents. The results ranked the operator first in 8 out of 15 customer satisfaction metrics, which is similar to its previous top placements in identical Q1 and Q2 2009 surveys (here and here).

The study ranked T-Mobile above all other UK mobile operators with regards to offering the best value for money for data usage, as well as coming top in a range of customer-centric categories, including ease of use and installation, billing and customer service. Survey respondents also found T-Mobile to be fastest for upload and download speeds.

Steve Mitchell, head of post-pay marketing for T-Mobile UK, said:

“Our sustained success in what is probably the UK’s most comprehensive and regular sampling of mobile broadband customer satisfaction, shows that customers rate us highly for value for money and levels of service. Customers have the added assurance that we remain the only network to offer unlimited browsing without charging run-on rates.“

The results of the YouGov report claim to be based on the largest independent sample of Mobile Broadband users to be surveyed in the UK. They also complement T-Mobile's strong performance in recent P3 Solutions testing.

T-Mobile's Mobile Broadband (3G) network currently offers download speeds of up to 4.5Mbps and plans to deliver close to complete population coverage for 3G services in 2010.
