UK ISP Breathe Internet, which - prior to the recent and controversial management buyout - was formerly known as Breathe Networks Limited (BNL), has vanished from the Internet Service Providers Association ( ISPA ) and Internet Watch Foundation ( IWF ) member lists.

This latest development will come as little surprise to anybody, least of all Breathe and ZetNet's troubled customer, whom have recently been forced to endure a raft of service (e.g. email) and support disruption problems (here, here, here and here). However there are now some signs of improvement.

So what is the advisability now of staying with Breathe as an ISP, if they are no longer in the ISPA ?

I think anyone wanting to stay with these clowns must be insane. My advice, get out as soon as you can. Because all they're gonna do is run up more debts and fold again.

Agreed!! Problem is that they are holding my email account and I can't manage to get it off them! Emails aren't bouncing but I can't access them - I might be losing work....Perhaps I can sue them!!!???

I have been waiting for my MAC code from them for seven weeks now and they've charged my credit card twice since I instructed them not to do so. I recommend avoiding Breathe or any future incarnation of them that they might manage to bring about.
