Virgin Media UK Cuts 50Mbps Broadband Price to Just 18GBP Per Month

Cable giant Virgin Media UK has once again cut the monthly price of its trend setting XXL 'up to' 50Mbps cable broadband service (1.5Mbps upload). The standalone service is now just £33 per month for the first 3 months and £38 thereafter. If you bundle phone line rental for +£11 a month then the price drops to just £18 per month for the first 3 months and £28 thereafter. Free installation on both.
Broadband XXLIt's noted on "Unlimited downloads" that Traffic Management operates from 4pm to 9pm and 10am to 3pm to "ensure a consistent user experience". However the 50Mbps XXL product itself is not yet being 'managed' and remains free of such restrictions.
