UK ISP Vispa Internet Completes Abel Internet Acquisition

ISP Vispa Internet UK has acquired the broadband DSL (ADSL) customer base of Scotland based Abel Internet, a former rival. The move means that more than 700 business and residential customers have now been transferred from Abel to Vispa.James Ormerod, Vispa’s Managing Director, says:

The acquisition is said to be the first of many planned by Vispa, which is actively seeking contact from any ISP that might be looking for an exit strategy. Many smaller ISPs are struggling in this aggressively competitive environment and so it is perhaps not unsurprising to see today’s news.
