New and existing Pay Monthly iPhone customers on O2 who purchase the discounted £9.79 per month 3GB Internet Tethering Bolt On before 31st December 2009 will now be entitled to receive the operators fixed land-line O2 Home Broadband Standard package for FREE (normally costs £7.34 per month for existing O2 mobile customers and £12.23 for everybody else).Peter Rampling, Head of Consumer Mobile at O2 said:

The Home Standard package includes download speeds of up to 8Mbps (1.3Mbps upload), “unlimited” usage, a free wireless router, 100 free txt's per month and runs off a 12 month contract. Alternatively, customers can claim a £7.34pm discount against any other O2 Home Broadband product including Premium, Pro or O2 Home Broadband Access.
