Broadband ISP TalkTalk ( The Carphone Warehouse ) has returned to its previous promotion of offering new customers a FREE broadband connection when they signup, which saves £29.99 off the initial price. The offer applies to both its 8Mbps (40GB usage + line rental) 'TalkTalk Essentials' and 24Mbps (Unlimited usage + line rental) 'TalkTalk Pro' packages.

Both packages typically come with a mix of free calls and wireless router(s), not to mention an 18 month minimum contract term. TalkTalk claims its promotion is only available until 15th December but we've lost count of how many times the ISP has stopped and restarted the offer so there's no need to hurry at all.

The 'Essentials' service can also be improved by adding any number of optional "boosts", which cost £2 each. Customers can add extra calls, speed up their package, add more monthly usage allowance and more.
