plusnet uk logoAnthony Vollmer, CEO of broadband ISP PlusNet UK, has departed the provider for pastures new within the wider BT Group. Voller took the reins in 2008 and has guided them through a difficult recession and the emergence of new broadband solutions.

Vollmer's replacement is understandably another BT veteran, Jamie Ford (appointed last week), this time coming from BT Retail where he was Director of Customer Experience and Business Change. PlusNet is of course now owned by BT and has been for several years, although some of the ISPs staff might be annoyed at being passed over for another BT implant instead.

Voller himself was General Manager of Voice Propositions in BT Retail’s consumer division before being elected to the CEO posting at PlusNet in 2008.

Transfered from Talk Talk to Plusnet on 22nd August thinking no one could be worse but I was WRONG. Have had no Internet since. They can't work out how to connect us and give us nothing but lies every day when we phone them. How can they be so Incompetant?

I would love his phone number as trying to get his e-amil address but to no avail. I have tried contacting customer services - they are no help. Ive tried contacting complaints asking them to phone me, but they wont. Plusnet has taken money from me without permission! they refuse to apologise, refuse to let me complain and refuse to give me my money back and have the ordasity to cal me a liar without listening to the recordings of calls they have recorded- when they made the mistake of taking my payment TWICE
