On ADSL2+ with an attenuation of 28db i got 19.5mbit with a target snr of 4db and fastpath, llu, You should be getting a little more than you are with a 6db, probably due to interleaving being on

Pretty much what the others said. At best those stats will give you around 15-16Mbps connection or 13-14Mbps real-world speeds, so in reality what you get isn't far off and if you try to push more then I'd be worried about line stability. On the bright side you're still roughly twice the national average .
