Curiously on the web form they provide to request a MAC where a reseller is uncontactable, the only choice of reseller is Gio Internet / F1 Internet.

I wonder if they still hold a lot of ex-GIO lines!

Well, those are two ISPs that have gone belly up and were NetServices supplied companies: technically V21 / Biscit are still trading (although not sure how their finances are where NetServices are concerned).

Well it may be a choice between the devil & the deep blue sea but I'm ever so slightly happier to be with EzeeDSL rather than having stayed with Biscit.

Apparently obtaining a MAC if you were held over from Customnet might be a problem too http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/show...ight=customnet

I wouldn't know if they went belly up too, but you've got to admire NS's efficiency at releasing the lines of some unfortunate ex-Visp customers - not

I can see another NS bashing time coming up. That must be totaly against OFCOM rules they have more ISPs going through their pipes than those two if they have any gio at all.

Default Biscit withdraws from ISP association

I've posted this on another forum so apologies if you've read it already.

I have finally won judgment by default in the county court against V21 (as they are now called again). I issued my claim on 1st Dec 2006 and Biscit have been dragging this out ever since.

The District Judge was suitably unimpressed with their two line defence against my claim for overcharging on my credit card that he struck it out. Biscit/V21 failed to lodge a proper defence and so yesterday I obtained judgment by default, and having regard for the company's alleged poor financial position, asked the court to send the bailiff in too.

I now wait with baited breath to see if the bailiff gets in their before Biscit/V21 goes into receivership.

Good luck Paul.
I'm sure we'd all like to know of further progress (or not!).
Have you input your experience to the BBC Watchdog online survey on ISP's?

Yes I gave my views to Watchdog! I am now awaiting a response from V21 or the bailiff as regards my warrant of execution.
