Default short term isp

I am looking for an isp for the short term only as I will be leaving the area soon. This would mean having an isp that accepts short term subscriptions and can accept cancellation/termination of service by e-mail only. This would suit my current needs/position. Any idea which ones?

Sorry, forgot to mention I don't need 24/7 access. Daytime access would be better. I'll keep on looking, if anyone has any experience of the sort of isp I'm looking for I would appreciate your comments.

Cheers

Just regular dial-up access mainly for e-mail and web surfing with the occassional downloading. As mentioned before, don't really want 24/7 access just daytime for 7 days a week. And something flexible ie. easily terminated as I am not in the area long.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

If your going to be having a BT line where ever you go with some ISP's they will let you move the broadband to where ever for free but only once or twice in 12 months.

The Utility Warehouse do a dial up service with no contract for £1 per month then 1p per min anytime.

You would have to add £1.76 ( with VAT) on top for membership. so £2.76 per month then 1p per min after that.

Don't think it's quite what you want though, have a look and check all the terms and conditions and see.

Hi ,

If your looking for Freecall dial up access Firefly / Surfanytime seem to still be getting good reviews. I used them a while back before my broadband line got installed . Certainly never had any complaints with their dial up and I believe they are 1 Month rolling contracts.

There are a number of ISPs that offer subscription-free dialup to anyone who wants to use it. You dont need to send them any details, just use the service. Most are 0844/0845 local rate numbers.

I use Gravity's dial numbers whenever I'm out on the road and can't get 3g reception:

Try firenet.uk

NO BT call charges and NO Monthly fees!

With the PrePay service, you pay upfront for a fixed amount of anytime hours online. These can be used over as long or short a period as required monitoring usage from your MyFirenet Control Panel.
Simply top up your balance again whenever you need to.
