ISP TalkTalk UK Discounts 38Mbps FTTC Broadband to £21.95

Friday, November 8th, 2019 (8:02 am) - Score 844

Budget UK ISP TalkTalk has launched a new promotion ahead of the Black Friday event, which drops the monthly price of their 38Mbps (average peak time speed) “Faster FibreFTTC broadband and phone bundle to £21.95 and their 67Mbps “Superfast Fibre” option to £24.45 for new subscribers. Both include free setup.

The new promotion is set to run until 5th December 2019. As usual customers can expect to receive unlimited data usage, included phone line rental (standard call charges with optional free calling add-ons), a wireless router (Wi-Fi Hub), an 18 month minimum contract term and various other features (e.g. network-level parental controls, nuisance call blocking and internet security).

TalkTalk also pledges to “guarantee no mid-contract price rises on all our broadband packages” (excluding add-ons like calls, TV boosts etc.) and promises a 30 day guarantee, which means you can leave penalty free within the first 30 days if you’re “not fully satisfied.”

On top of that the ISP has recently made a number of commitments to pricing fairness, which from early next year should make it easier to re-contract in order to access the same deals as new customers (here).

Fast Broadband (Average of 11Mbps down / 1Mbps up)
Price: £17.95 a month for 18 months (standard cost £30)

Faster Fibre (Average of 38Mbps down / 9Mbps up)
Price: £21.91 a month for 18 months (standard cost £36)

Faster Fibre with Speed Boost (Average of 67Mbps down / 19Mbps up)
Price: £24.45 a month for 18 months (standard cost £41)

I beat that got my best deal FTTC 80/20 for just £17.50 a month inc line only with PN. 🙂

Careful, there are certain people around here who get quitenupset when you talk about getting a deal they can only dream of.

It’s not the price of the deal that upsets me, it is the fact that I can’t get a fast connection at all unless I go for a leased line (which also cost significantly more than in other areas).
However, my ADSL2+ connect is a very good price – I haven’t paid anything for over a year due to PN’s billing problems! Just a shame it is too slow to be useful.

A deal is a deal only if it is worth having.

“A deal is a deal only if it is worth having.”

Some no matter how much you explain do not know what that means.

Go away seems to be following beany around like a groupie.
