New customers looking to join Sky’s sibling ISP and TV streaming service, NOW TV (NOW Broadband), may like to know that they’ve just discounted the price of their top Fibre-to-the-Cabinet (FTTC) based “Super Fibre” (63Mbps) broadband package with inclusive anytime UK calls from £30 to £25 per month.

As usual customers can also expect to receive unlimited usage, a bundled wireless router, a 12-month minimum contract term, phone line rental and free anytime calls to UK landline and mobile numbers (anytime calls usually cost £8 extra per month).

On top of that NOW TV also offers a 30 day “no contract” option, but in order to get that you’ll need to pay a one-off £60 setup fee. The 12-month contract also attracts a £5 router delivery fee. Otherwise the new discount will be available to order until 27th August 2020.

They are worse than plusnet and vodaphone for poor broadband speeds and support…. look you pay for what you get if you dont mind poop connections with poop support then these deals are for you!

Seems good value and you don’t have to take a contract.

However, when we tried to switch to NowTV, they told us we couldn’t keep the same landline number. I wasn’t fussed about that but, because of that we ended up sticking with our current provider.

My experience (on Fab Fibre) has been that it’s the same as (and as good as) Sky Broadband – but without the frills and for a lower monthly cost. Poop? Nah, not here not for me anyway. Of course, not everybody will have the same experience and consequently may well a different opinion, just like everything in life really….

I agree, plus they are voted by uswitch as the best broadband provider this year, so they don’t think it’s poop as another person said.

Does anyone know if the monthly package cost ever increases if you choose the ‘no contract’ option?

If you choose a 12 month contract, the monthly cost increases to £35 for Fab Fibre!

    1. Avatar Nikhil says:

Not sure about the no contract option, but on the 12 month contract, at the end of the contract if you contact them they normally with little negotiation give you a better deal to recontract for another 12 months (usually the same price as you were previously on)

    2. Avatar Stuart says:

The discount stops after 12 months just like on the contract option. No inflation price rises either way

How do I find out if fibre optics are available to me with my Nowtv contract

  6. Avatar Helen says:

I have been with Now Broadband for the last 11 months on £25 a month Fab Fibre with Anytime calls. My speeds were pretty good – around 34MbS so i was happy. Got the email today saying that my contract will be up 18 Oct after which it will go up to £40 but if i re-contract for 12 months it will be £31. Phoned them up from the landline which they provide – got straight through – didn’t have to wait on hold or anything. I said – i’ve got 5 weeks to shop around as i know i can get a better deal than £31 a month – immediately he said he would see what he can do – and came back in seconds with £22.99 a month for the same deal – ie the same deal they are currently offering new customers. I didn’t even have to haggle. He said he could apply it immediately meaning i would even save £2 on my last month’s contract. SO I bit his hand off and said Yes Please. Within a few minutes i saw the account online was updated and i was only paying £22.99 a month from today. It wasn’t difficult at all and the customer service assistant was very pleasant and helpful. I was expecting a long drawn out negotiation – and was pleasantly surprised not to have had to do that. My speeds etc have been great – I was with Sky before and the speeds were worse. I know its the same connection – but the service seems much better.
