{"id":12178,"date":"2016-07-21T10:38:20","date_gmt":"2016-07-21T09:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/?p=12178"},"modified":"2016-07-21T10:42:48","modified_gmt":"2016-07-21T09:42:48","slug":"ee-uk-returns-100-pay-monthly-support-calls-uk-ireland","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2016\/07\/ee-uk-returns-100-pay-monthly-support-calls-uk-ireland.html","title":{"rendered":"EE Returns 100% of Pay Monthly Support Calls to the UK and Ireland"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Telecoms operator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a> has today announced that 100% of its Pay Monthly Mobile customer service calls are now being handled in the UK and Ireland, which marks a major milestone in its on-going &#8220;<em>onshoring<\/em>&#8221; effort to answer 100% of all service calls in the local market.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The move, which was only announced in April 2016 (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2016\/04\/ee-target-95-percent-4g-landmass-cover-brings-support-back-uk.html\">here<\/a>), is part of a wider effort to improve the operator&#8217;s sometimes flaky customer support quality and has already resulted in 500 new customers service roles being created in the UK and Ireland. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a> also intends to recruit a further 550 new staff for its Plymouth (140), Darlington (130), South Wales (150) and North Tyneside (130) sites.<\/p>\n<p>The remaining Pay-as-you-go and Home Broadband customer service calls are set to be handled in the UK and Ireland by the end 2016.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq1\"><p><strong>Marc Allera, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a> CEO, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Earlier this year, we set out ambitions to transform the experience and service we provide our customers, including returning all customer service roles to the UK and Ireland. We\u2019ve had fantastic feedback from our customers about the changes we\u2019ve made so far and the number of complaints has plummeted &#8211; but we\u2019re not stopping there.
