But the changes also mask a price increase.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Until today if you were to order, for example, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a>&#8217;s entry-level &#8216;up to&#8217; 17Mbps capable broadband package then you could expect to pay \u00a31 per month for the first 18 months of service (rising to \u00a310 thereafter) for broadband. On top of that standard line rental of \u00a317.50 per month would also be payable (total of \u00a318.50 a month for 18 months and then \u00a327.50 thereafter). The above price could be reduced to total \u00a325.75 a month by pre-paying for line rental in advance, which cuts the monthly line rental cost to the equivalent of \u00a315.75.<\/p>\n<p>However from today that same package will cost you \u00a319.50 per month for the 18 month contract term, which is a +\u00a31 increase over the precious standard pricing. The reason for this is because <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a> has increased the underlying line rental charge to \u00a318.50 per month and pre-paid line rental to \u00a3199 for 12 months (monthly equivalent of \u00a316.58) or \u00a3299 for 18 months (monthly equivalent of \u00a316.61).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>EE&#8217;s Revised Home Broadband + Line Rental Bundles<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Standard Broadband (up to 17 Mb) = \u00a319.50 per month for 18 months (\u00a328.50 thereafter)<\/p>\n<p>Standard Broadband (up to 17 Mb) &amp; Anytime calls = \u00a326 per month for 18 months<\/p>\n<p>Fibre Broadband (up to 38 Mb) = \u00a328.50 per month for 18 months<\/p>\n<p>Fibre Plus Broadband (up to 76 Mb) = \u00a336.50 per month for 18 months<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>We&#8217;ll have to wait for EE to update their website before being able to verify, but usually all of these packages include unlimited usage, a wireless router (\u00a37 delivery), inclusive UK weekend landline calls and 5GB of extra <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eemobile\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE mobile<\/a> data.
