Virgin Media<\/a> has cut the price of their standalone 50Mbps superfast broadband (Solus) package for the first 12 months of service, which drops the monthly package price to just \u00a318 per month (\u00a332.25 thereafter) + \u00a314.99 one-off activation. A similar deal exists on their 100Mbps and 200Mbps options.<\/p>\n

All customers are subject to an 12 month contract and receive a free SuperHub wireless router, unlimited usage, free access to Virgin\u2019s WiFi<\/a> hotspots (e.g. London Underground Stations), free Internet security + Parental Controls and free email. A \u00a340 standard install charge may also apply in some situations.<\/p>\n
