Telecoms operator Vodafone<\/a> has announced that over the next 24 months they will create 2,100 new customer service roles across the Midlands, North of England, Scotland and Wales, which forms part of their three-year \u00a32 billion investment programme in the UK.<\/p>\n

Apparently this announcement includes around 800 new jobs at the company’s existing customer services centre in Manchester, as well as almost 150 new jobs at its existing contact centre in Newark, more than 150 new jobs at its Stoke contact centre and around 100 new roles at their Glasgow centre.<\/p>\n

In addition, Vodafone<\/a> UK’s third-party customer service partners will create almost 600 new roles in Newcastle, as well as nearly 200 in the West of Scotland and 100 in Cardiff.<\/p>\n

Nick Jeffery, Vodafone UK CEO, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“These new, skilled roles will make a real difference to our customers and a real difference to the communities that are the focus of our customer services investment. Our ambition is to give our customers the best experience possible, providing an outstanding level of service and support as we continue to invest in building the biggest and best network in Britain.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Karen Bradley MP, Secretary of State for Culture (DCMS), said:<\/strong><\/p>\n
