It also deployed the same service to armed forces serving overseas. Many others also won grants for similarly clever uses of modern technology.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq1\"><p><strong>Dido Harding, CEO of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/tt\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">TalkTalk<\/a>, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>There are many more examples of work being carried out by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/tt\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">TalkTalk<\/a>\u2019s Digital Heroes stretching back over the last five years, and we can be proud as a company to have been the catalyst for so much good work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This year\u2019s awards are bigger and better than ever. We have a new category for children and young people, aged 18 years and under, with the winner receiving \u00a34,000 for their chosen charity and an Apple MacBook Air computer, and we have launched a fun competition where children aged 12 years and under can send in their drawings of what a Digital Hero might look like<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The awards are done in association with Citizens Online, The Mirror and supported by Go ON UK.
