{"id":14397,"date":"2017-08-03T11:02:04","date_gmt":"2017-08-03T10:02:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/?p=14397"},"modified":"2017-08-03T13:50:25","modified_gmt":"2017-08-03T12:50:25","slug":"three-uk-4g-population-network-coverage-reaches-91","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2017\/08\/three-uk-4g-population-network-coverage-reaches-91.html","title":{"rendered":"Three UK&#8217;s 4G Network Coverage Reaches 91% of the Population"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mobile operator <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/threeuk\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Three UK<\/a> has today published their latest results for the first half of 2017 (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.threemediacentre.co.uk\/~\/media\/Files\/T\/Three-Media-Centre\/h1-17-one-pager.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>), which among other things reveals that their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/3g\">3G<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/4g\">4G<\/a> indoor network coverage has now reached 97% (up from 81% in 2015) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/4g\">4G<\/a> population coverage is at 91%.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The operator also claims to have a total customer base of 12,010,000 (up from 10,848,000 at the same point last year), although only 9,992,000 of those are marked as being &#8220;<em>active customers<\/em>&#8220;. The average data usage per customer came out as 6.9 GigaBytes (up from 5.4GB last year).
