Unfortunately the situation means that people trying to contact <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a>&#8217;s support lines may struggle, which is particularly frustrating if you need to report a stolen phone, request a PAC (code) to switch operators or active a new phone etc. Naturally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">EE<\/a>&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EE\/status\/948134111423664129\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">twitter stream<\/a> is full of complaints.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that EE&#8217;s mobile and fixed line broadband network is not itself being affected by the issue. A related thread has also been started on <a href=\"https:\/\/community.ee.co.uk\/t5\/Network-status\/Calling-us-and-using-our-customer-service-platforms\/td-p\/654757\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EE&#8217;s Community Forum<\/a>, which includes the following statement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq1\"><p><strong>EE Service Update 2\/1\/2018<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re aware of an issue that is affecting some customers attempting to contact us.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve been trying to give us a call, use My EE, or use our other customer service platforms, you may be experiencing difficulties. However this issue does not affect our mobile or broadband networks. Call, data and messaging services are operating as normal.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re working really hard to get this fixed as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused, we&#8217;ll keep you updated here.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A few minutes ago EE issued <a href=\"https:\/\/community.ee.co.uk\/t5\/Network-status\/Calling-us-and-using-our-customer-service-platforms\/td-p\/654757\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">another update<\/a>, which states that &#8220;<em>services are restored and customer service both on 150 and online are becoming available again.
