Business communications provider FluidOne<\/a>, which also supplies a number of UK broadband ISPs, has today moved for the second time in the space of 6-7 months to try and replace its outgoing CEO, Piers Daniell, with a new boss in the shape of Russell Horton.<\/p>\n

The provider first attempted to replace long-time founder Piers, who intends to adopt the role of Chairman with a specific focus on new emerging technologies, in October last year after they announced that FluidOne<\/a>’s former non-executive director, Chris Jagusz, would take on the role (here<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Today’s press release makes no mention of what happened to Chris Jagusz but we know that after a last minute change he instead decided to take the reins of troubled Redcentric, which suffered a rather major accounting misstatement<\/a> in 2016 and is still working to recover from it.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile Russell, who has previously served as the COO of Elite Group, is currently preparing to lay out his 5-year vision at some point over the coming months. Russell has also previously held senior positions at both Daisy and Vodafone<\/a>, so he should have a good understanding of the business.<\/p>\n
