New and upgrading Pay Monthly mobile customers of Vodafone<\/a> UK can now benefit from a new 30 Day Service Guarantee, which allows you to cancel your contract “without penalty<\/em>” if you are “not totally satisfied<\/em>” with any aspect of their plan (including coverage, customer service or even not getting on with a new device).<\/p>\n

The new Guarantee is available to both consumer customer contracts and Small Enterprise customers with fewer than 9 employees, when purchased from Vodafone<\/a> directly. By comparison many other operators tend to offer a cooling off period of only a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n

Nick Jeffery, CEO of Vodafone<\/a> UK, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“We\u2019ve been listening to what our customers want and over the last year have worked tirelessly to introduce new technology and initiatives to help us deliver great customer service. Now we\u2019re backing our big improvements with a big promise \u2013 try us for 30 days and if you\u2019re not impressed, you\u2019re free to walk away. No penalties, no ifs, no buts.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Naturally anybody who chooses to leave within the 30 day window will need to return all their devices, while any unpaid line rental up until a customer cancels will still need to be settled, as well as any extras and out-of-plan charges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
