The second stage of the annual Broadband Genie 2019 survey has today presented several awards to Zen Internet<\/a>, the Post Office and Plusnet<\/a> after they took the top spots across various different UK ISP performance categories. Overall budget ISP Plusnet<\/a> took home the most wins, including for “Best Broadband Provider.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

The Broadband Genie<\/a> results were based off a combination of sources, including an interview that was conducted with 2,718 UK broadband bill payers (between 3rd April – 29th April 2019) and a OnePoll survey of 2,000 broadband bill payers (between 26th March – 4th April 2019). Each category had a series of questions assigned to determine the winner.<\/p>\n

Naturally the small sample size meant that this survey could only realistically cover the larger or better known providers, although Zen Internet<\/a> and Sky’s sibling NOW TV<\/a> (NOW Broadband) brand both managed to get their shoe in the door. In other words, the results should be taken with a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n

The results from the survey can be found below and it’s worth noting that TalkTalk<\/a> came bottom of almost every single category.<\/p>\n
