Sky’s sibling UK ISP and video streaming service, NOW TV<\/a> (NOW Broadband), has entered into a new partnership with Tesco that will allow existing Clubcard holders to convert their vouchers into credit for triple the value when used with the service (e.g. \u00a35 worth of vouches becomes \u00a315!).<\/p>\n

The surprisingly attractive move means that you could, for example, take a \u00a35 voucher and use the \u00a315 of credit created by that to help pay for your NOW TV<\/a> subscription. Under the arrangement NOW TV plans to add a new “Credit Wallet<\/em>” to the members-only online account page, which will allow subscribers to add credit from their Clubcard account in order to spend on almost any NOW TV pass or product.<\/p>\n

As a bonus any remaining (unspent) credit on your NOW TV account will stay in the wallet for up to 3 years and can be used towards the service’s monthly auto-renewal payments. The only real catch here is that you can’t use the triple credit offer to help pay for the broadband and phone service (assuming you’ve taken that too) as it only applies to the video \/ TV streaming side.<\/p>\n

As a NOW TV subscriber myself I have not received any notice of this change from the provider and the account page does not yet show a credit wallet. Naturally we asked NOW TV directly about this and were told the following: “Yes, it’s true that NOW TV is partnering with Tesco, however it’s still in the initial stage<\/em>,” said one of their support agents.<\/p>\n

The provider doesn’t currently have a solid launch date for the new partnership and instead recommended that we keep a close eye on their website and community pages for a future update.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
