As a result their new logo has now completely replaced the old one across their various estates, sites and products.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The trademark proposal for <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-145\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/britishtelecom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"BT\">BT<\/a>&#8217;s redesign was first put forward all the way back in 2016 and can be <a href=\"https:\/\/trademarks.ipo.gov.uk\/ipo-tmcase\/page\/Results\/1\/UK00003185790\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">seen here<\/a>. A colourised version was also <a href=\"https:\/\/trademarks.ipo.gov.uk\/ipo-tmcase\/page\/Results\/1\/UK00003185788\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">produced here<\/a>, although the latter was later withdrawn. At the time we assumed that BT had chosen not to adopt the logo during 2016\/17 because they had much bigger things to focus upon (e.g. <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-133 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/ofcom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"ofcom\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.ofcom.org.uk\">Ofcom<\/a>&#8217;s Digital Communications Review and <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-46 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/openreach\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"openreach\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.openreach.co.uk\">Openreach<\/a>&#8217;s independence).
