Sky Broadband<\/a> (BSkyB) has launched a new Christmas promotion that offers 6 months free unlimited broadband<\/strong> and free weekend calls to both new customers and existing Sky TV<\/strong> subscribers, after which the price will return to just \u00a310 a month (\u00a37.50 with Sky TV).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As usual a 12 month contract<\/strong> period applies to the package and customers will still have to pay Sky Line Rental<\/strong> (\u00a314.50 a month). Sadly the deal only applies to Sky’s standard broadband and not it’s superfast Sky Fibre<\/a> Unlimited<\/strong> (FTTC<\/a>) service, which offers download speeds of up to 38Mbps from \u00a320 a month. But take note that the fibre service is currently running at half price for the first 3 months<\/a> (i.e. \u00a310 a month).<\/p>\n
