Budget conscious UK ISP TalkTalk<\/a> will today reintroduce 24 month contract terms to their home broadband packages, at least for a limited period, and start offering “3 months free<\/em>” service on all of their most popular “fibre<\/em>” plans (FTTC<\/a>, G.fast<\/a> and FTTP<\/a>). The one-off postage cost for routers has also been reduced to \u00a34.95.<\/p>\n

Until now TalkTalk<\/a> has tended to offer new customers an 18-month contract term, but until 2nd December 2020 you’ll now be able to get their prices on a longer 24-month term. The package names for their most popular FTTC<\/a> and G.fast<\/a> based bundles are also changing today, with Faster Fibre becoming “Fibre 35<\/em>“, Superfast Fibre turning into “Fibre 65<\/em>” and Faster 150 Fibre being renamed “Fibre 150.<\/em>”<\/p>\n

NOTE:<\/strong> All plans now charge a standard postage fee (\u00a39.95) for router delivery, which until 2nd December 2020 will be half price at \u00a34.95.<\/div>\n

The G.fast<\/a> based Faster 300 Fibre package is also being renamed to “Fibre 250<\/em>,” while both of their recently launched FTTP<\/a> (Openreach<\/a>) based packages – Future Fibre 150 and Future Fibre 500 – will instead become “Fibre 150 (Data Only)<\/em>” and “Fibre 500 (Data Only)<\/em>” respectively.<\/p>\n

Finally, as part of an early Black Friday<\/strong> deal, new customers taking out TalkTalk<\/a>’s Fibre 35, 65 or 150 packages will get the first three months of service absolutely free. As usual these come with phone line rental (standard call rates), unlimited usage and their latest Wi-Fi Hub router.<\/p>\n
