Existing customers of BT<\/a>’s UK broadband or EE<\/a>’s Pay Monthly mobile packages will tomorrow gain the ability to purchase one of Sony’s latest PlayStation 5 (PS5) video game consoles directly from the operator. But as with the prior Xbox deal, there won’t be any special discounts.<\/p>\n

The new console can be purchased by BT<\/a>’s broadband customers through their MyBT<\/strong> account. Meanwhile existing EE<\/a> Pay Monthly mobile customers will also have the option to take out one of the consoles and add the cost to their price plan, split over 11 interest-free instalments with EE<\/a>’s Add to Plan service. Alternatively, you could just buy it from any other retailer, provided it’s still in-stock.<\/p>\n

Alistair Wilson, BT<\/a>’s Director of Devices and Partnerships, said: “By making PS5 available to our BT broadband and EE mobile<\/a> customers, we\u2019re able to offer them the very latest experiences in gaming.
