{"id":2651,"date":"2013-02-11T15:58:23","date_gmt":"2013-02-11T15:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/?p=2651"},"modified":"2013-02-11T16:00:06","modified_gmt":"2013-02-11T16:00:06","slug":"new-at800-tv-website-to-help-uk-freeview-tv-and-4g-interference-woes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2013\/02\/new-at800-tv-website-to-help-uk-freeview-tv-and-4g-interference-woes.html","title":{"rendered":"New at800.tv Website to Help UK Freeview TV and 4G Interference Woes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Digital Mobile Spectrum Limited (DMSL) group, which was created to help some of the <strong>2 million+ UK homes<\/strong> that could suffer a loss of <strong>Digital Terrestrial TV<\/strong> (<em>Freeview<\/em>) when the new <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-116 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/4g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"4g\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/broadband_mobile.php\">4G<\/a> based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/broadband_mobile.php\" target=\"_new\">Mobile Broadband<\/a> services go live via the <strong>800MHz<\/strong> band, has setup a new website to help inform and advise those affected.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The not-for-profit organisation, which was formed on an initial basis in October 2012 by <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-43\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/eebroadband\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"ee home broadband\">EE<\/a>, <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-68\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/o2uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"o2\">O2<\/a>, <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-80\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/threeuk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"three uk\">Three UK<\/a> and <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-90\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/vodafoneuk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\" title=\"vodafone\">Vodafone<\/a>, is responsible for ensuring that people continue to receive Freeview TV when the new <a class=\"shortlink shortlink-116 shortlink-chref\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/link\/4g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"4g\" data-chref=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/broadband_mobile.php\">4G<\/a> (LTE 800) mobile services go live this summer. The creation of the <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/at800.tv\" target=\"_blank\">at800.tv<\/a><\/strong> (&#8220;<em>Let&#8217;s Be Clear At 800MHz<\/em>&#8220;) website forms part of that <strong>\u00a3180m<\/strong> effort.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bq1\"><p><strong>Simon Beresford-Wylie, CEO of DMSL, said:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>I look forward to working closely with broadcasters and mobile network operators to ensure everyone continues to be able to receive their current TV service. DMSL plans to pre-empt the majority of potential interference issues caused by 4G at 800 MHz and existing TV services.
