{"id":27640,"date":"2021-07-07T13:21:21","date_gmt":"2021-07-07T12:21:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/?p=27640"},"modified":"2021-07-07T13:21:21","modified_gmt":"2021-07-07T12:21:21","slug":"tesco-mobile-holds-5th-place-in-uk-customer-satisfaction-index","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/2021\/07\/tesco-mobile-holds-5th-place-in-uk-customer-satisfaction-index.html","title":{"rendered":"Tesco Mobile Holds 5th Place in UK Customer Satisfaction Index"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instituteofcustomerservice.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institute of Customer Service<\/a> has today published their latest biannual UK Customer Satisfaction Index (July 2021), which sadly saw only one telecommunications provider make it into their ranking of the top 50 organisations &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/tescomobile\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Tesco Mobile<\/a>, albeit with a slightly improved score of 83.9 out of 100 (up from 83.3) in January 2021.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>However, one positive development for the wider &#8220;<em>Telecommunications and Media<\/em>&#8221; sector was that its overall satisfaction score increased to 75.2 (up from 74.3 in January 2021), which marks a notable improvement after last year&#8217;s fall &#8211; this was partly attributed to the negative impact of COVID-19. A similar increase was also seen in the &#8220;<em>Utilities<\/em>&#8221; sector (73.5), as well as other sectors.<\/p>\n<div class=\"bq2\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> The UKCSI scores are based on feedback from several surveys, covering tens of thousands of respondents. Customers are asked to rate their experience of dealing with a specific organisation over 25 different metrics.<\/div>\n<p>The only other telecommunications operator to be mentioned, albeit still sitting well outside the top 50 ranking, was Virgin Mobile (VMO2 \/ <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ispreview.co.uk\/index.php\/go\/vm\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Virgin Media<\/a>).
