Network builder FullFibre Limited<\/a>, which is working to deploy their 1Gbps Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP<\/a>) broadband ISP network across “at least<\/em>” 500,000 premises by 2025, has today responded to the COP26 event by pledging to plant a tree for every new order placed for their service via Fibre Heroes<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The trees will be planted across the world’s most needed RE-forestation projects in each of their customers’ names. The operator added that they already “closely measure their waste levels and carbon footprint, reporting to their board on their environmental performance and the actions they can take to reduce any negative effects<\/em>,” but they wanted to go even further.<\/p>\n

Director of Sales, Dan Jones, said: “We are doing a lot as an industry and behind the scenes as a company already, but while the Green agenda takes centre stage during November we want to extend the opportunity to get involved to our customers. That\u2019s why for every order placed to upgrade to cleaner and greener full fibre broadband via www.fibreheroes.co.uk we will fund the planting of a tree across the worlds most needed RE-forestation projects in each of our customers names<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Admittedly, FullFibre currently only covers 50,000 premises and so the impact of this will be limited, but they are now building at a rate of 15,000 premises per month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
